Kaleigh Walker grew up in a family full of avid athletes, fitness enthusiasts and dancers’, so being active has always been a huge part of her life. She began teaching dance and junior golf in her teens and continued throughout college at the University of Kansas. When Kaleigh moved to Los Angeles to work in Entertainment Public Relations in 2005, she lost touch with some of her favorite physical activities.

Yet soon after her move, Kaleigh was introduced to yoga. She quickly realized the profound physical and mental benefits that could be achieved with a regular practice and became hooked! As she continued deepening her yoga practice, she became more confident of her true calling in life – to leave the corporate world and get back to teaching!

In 2008, Kaleigh completed her 200-hour yoga alliance certification through YogaHop in Santa Monica and soon after, her Certified Personal Trainer certification through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. Since then, she’s continued to immerse herself in studying the fundamentals of fitness, nutrition and yogic philosophy with some of today’s most knowledgeable individuals.

Kaleigh’s main focus is to share her knowledge and passion for health and well-being with as many people as she can. Her clients and students range from celebrities and professional athletes to those individuals battling ailments or just trying to stay healthy. After nearly 10 years in Los Angeles, Kaleigh relocated to Dallas, TX in March of 2015. In addition to her extensive private clientele, you can find Kaleigh teaching regular yoga classes at We Yogis, Corepower Yoga, and Plum Yoga in Dallas, as well as Retreats across the globe. Kaleigh is an ambassador for Lululemon, Style Firm LA, BurnThis, Girls Gone Sporty, and NEVA.

Kaleigh strives towards creating a cheerful and welcoming environment as soon as her students walk into class. Her teaching style, which is a mixture of both power & vinyasa flow sequencing, is set to dynamic music to create a challenging, yet uplifting atmosphere. To cultivate and further deepen her students’ mind/body connection, she uses her training and background in dance to emphasize fluidity of the movement with each breath. Kaleigh encourages her students to tap into their inner strength and balance and strive towards experiencing a newfound sense of achievement and purpose each time they come to their mats.

Kaleigh is available for private individual or group yoga instruction. She will create a personalized class based on your specific wants and needs to help begin or further develop your yoga practice.

Nutritional Coaching

It's time to achieve your nutritional goals and change the way you see food.

Did you know that nearly 70% of our country’s adult population is either overweight or obese? That is an incredibly scary statistic, but one that is our reality. One of the main factors leading to this epidemic is the lack of education on how and what to eat. Kaleigh is no stranger to understanding how to properly fuel the body. For the first 20+ years of her life, her diet consisted mostly of fast food, soda, large portions and sweets. She constantly struggled with anxiety, headaches, low energy and digestive issues before she finally realized her diet was to blame. After that epiphany, Kaleigh immersed herself in studying with some of today’s top nutritionists and doctors to better understand how diet not only affects the scale, but nearly every other ailment and disease in the body. Currently, she is obtaining her Nutrition and Health Coaching Certification through the acclaimed Institute of Integrative Nutrition.

Kaleigh knows firsthand that nutrition is an integral part of the well-being process. If you don’t monitor what you put into your mouth, all of the hard work you put into physical activity will be a waste! But when you know better, you do better…so why not educate yourself and lead by example?! Kaleigh’s Nutritional Coaching consists of an initial in-depth interview and assessment to determine the individual’s current diet, lifestyle and future goals. Based on the results and information gathered during the consultation, Kaleigh will create a customized program to help each client obtain life-long nutritional habits that last.

Kaleigh is available for private individual or group Nutritional Coaching via Skype, phone call, or in-person. She will create a customized meal plan based on your specific wants and needs to help you maintain a solid understanding of nutrition and create a new approach to the way you see food!
